The Axioline Smart Elements are plug-in I/O modules that don’t require a system and don’t communicate over a bus. Only the I/O function is supported by the individual element. Only in conjunction with a backplane, which works similarly to an adaptor, is bus communication for the pertinent I/O system made possible. As a result, the Axioline Smart Elements are versatile and ubiquitous.
The Axioline F and Axioline E (Smart Elements) I/O systems by Phoenix Contact offer modular and compact digital, analog, and special-function I/O modules ideal for both control-cabinet (IP20) and field (IP65/IP67/IP69K) installations.
