MCM260X | Remote I/O CANOpen – Modbus
There are six distinct programmable analogue-digital I/O combinations for the data acquisition/actuation modules MCM260X. The accessible digital lines are freely configurable as inputs or outputs, specifically in the 9AD version.
The MCM260X modules were initially designed as I/Os for Pixsys PLCs and HMIs, but its CANopen and Modbus-RTU communication interfaces make it simple to link them with external devices.
NFC (near field communication) and the MyPixsys App, the flagship of all recent Pixsys instrumentation lines, which saves time and doesn’t require any wiring or device power supply, or a display and function keys integrated beneath the front panel can be used to address and set communication parameters.
For quick project interaction with other Pixsys devices, the Pixsys LogicLab development tool supports the MCM260X family.
CAN in Automation (CiA) has approved the 5AD and 9AD versions for conformance to the CiA 301 communication profile and the CANopen application level.
We are excited to introduce you to the Pixsys MCM260X Series – a compact, intelligent Remote I/O solution designed to meet a wide variety of automation requirements with maximum flexibility and ease of use.

The Axioline Smart Elements are plug-in I/O modules that don't require a system and don't communicate over a bus. Only the I/O function is supported by the individual element. Only in conjunction with a backplane, which works similarly to an adaptor, is bus communication for the pertinent I/O system made possible. As a result, the Axioline Smart Elements are versatile and ubiquitous.
