The Omron CP1E series is a compact and cost-effective programmable logic controller designed for basic machine automation. It combines the functionality of a small PLC with the flexibility of I/O expansion and built-in control features, making it ideal for OEMs and general-purpose control systems.
Available in three model types—E-type, N-type, and NA-type—the CP1E offers multiple I/O configurations, support for analog control, and communication options like USB and RS-232C. With fast processing, built-in pulse outputs, and expandability, it provides reliable performance in space-constrained applications.
CP1E The economic machine controller
Our CP1E series provides exceptional positioning capability together with all the functionality required to manage very basic applications.
• There are now new CP1E CPU units available. The CPU units have three built-in ports: USB, RS-232C, and RS-485. CPU units with RS-232C ports have a 20 mm shallower depth (N30/40/60S(1)).
• USB cables that are sold commercially make connecting to PCs simple.
• Connect expansion units or expansion I/O units to E30/40/60(S), N30/40/60(S[]), or NA20 CPU units to add I/O, analog I/O, or temperature inputs.
• Interruptions in input
• Full functionality of the high-speed counter.
• Adaptable pulse control for N14/20/30/40/60(S[]) or NA20 CPU Units’ transistor output.
• PWM Transistor Outputs for CPU Units N14/20/30/40/60(S[]) or NA20. Serial, Ethernet, and Analog option boards can be mounted on N30, 40, 60, or NA20 CPU units.
• Two inputs and one output are integrated analog I/O for CPU units of the NA type.
